Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
